Temple Square

Yesterday we went with Erik's family to visit Temple Square. Erik's sister Carolyn and her kids are in town from Texas. We went on a tour of the Conference Center with 15 kids. It was crazy with four strollers (two double) and that many little bodies to keep track of , but the kids were great. We had a very sweet tour guide who was very patient with us. After we went over and took pictures by the temple. It was a beautiful day!

This is some of the kids waiting for a few others to use the restroom.
They were being so good!

I had lots of help with Emma. She did suprising well for having to be in her stroller for so long. Dallin and Jaxson both took turns holding her bottle while I pushed the stroller. They were such good helpers. Erik's mom also took her and fed and changed her while the rest of us were touring the roof. She is amazing!

Happy 4th

We had a fun 4th of July. We stared off the day at the River Meadows retirement center (where Erik's mom works), and the kids were able to play on some bounce houses, play games and get their faces painted. They also served a yummy lunch and had lots of treats. After we went to my grandparents house to swim and then had dinner at my parents. We finished off the day watching fireworks. We love the 4th of July!
This picture is fuzzy, but I couldn't resist posing it. Emma loves to smile!

Emma

I thought we would share a few updated pictures of Emma. She is growing so fast. I weighed her the other day and she is already 12 1/2 pounds. It makes me a little sad that she has already grown out of some of her clothes, but we will take chub any day!

Blessing Day

Yesterday we blessed Emma Jane. She was able to wear the blessing dress that my sisters and I all wore, and she looked beautiful. The boys kept saying that she was a little princess. We didn't realize that we had Stake Conference when we planed to bless her, so we gathered at Erik's parent's clubhouse. We are so grateful for all the family and friends that were able to attend. June 7th is also Erik, his dad, and his nephew Isaac's birthday. It was fun to share our special day with all of them.

Happy Birthday guys!

Yeah for Summer

The month of May was a little crazy this year for our family. Besides having a baby, we have been juggling between all the boy's sports and finishing school. Jaxson played baseball and soccer this year. Cameron played soccer and Dallin played T-ball. We have had more games and practices than I would like to count. We were also able to attend Dallin's preschool graduation and program. It was darling and he can hardly wait to start Kindergarten next year. Jaxson celebrated his 10th birthday on Memorial Day, and this year we were lucky enough to have Trina in town who shares his birthday. It was so fun to celebrate together. It has been a busy month and we are so excited for June- to be home and just play.

This is Dallin's preschool program. They sang lots of fun songs with cute costumes and actions. (He loved being a lion!)

Happy Birthday Trina and Jaxson!

Every year on Memorial Day we visit my grandparents grave site.

Between all the games, we have been trying to fit yard work into the schedule. This is how Erik has been able to mow the lawn, with Spencer on his back. We have missed a few naps.

Dallin's T-ball team- The Dodgers

Cameron and his soccer team- "The Fire Eagles"

Jaxson's soccer team- "The Flying Dutchmen" (not sure where the name came from)
Even though it has been crazy, we had a great month.

Sleeping Beauty

I love to watch babies sleep. Emma was having a nap yesterday, and I had to post some of her sweet faces. It has been so much fun having her home. The boys have to know where she is at all times, especially Spencer. As long as he can see her and she is happy, he can go about life as usual. He gets very concerned when she is crying and wants to give her things to make her better. She is going to be well looked after!

Emma Jane

We are so happy to welcome Emma Jane to our family. She arrived after a long wait to be induced, but came quickly once we got everything going at the hospital. She weighed a whopping 9 lbs. 2 oz. (bigger than all of our boys!) She has been such a sweet heart. The first day she slept most of the day, but by day two she was wide awake. The nurse came in and told us that she did not pass her hearing test because she was making too much noise. They came and tried later, and even had her asleep, but as soon as they got the probe near her ear she started screaming. The nurse told us it sounded like she was scolding them. I think she is ready to hold her own in this family of boys! We are so excited to have her home and are ready to experience this new world of girls.
