Can't Believe It's Been a Year

Emma turned 1 on Friday, and it is so amazing how fast the year has gone. She has grown up so much in just the past few weeks. We took her to her year check-up and she is in the 95% for height, and 75th for weight. She is getting 5 teeth right now, and is starting to walk. She loves to say "da da", and can say "ma ma", but thinks she is being funny saying dad instead. She has way more hair than any of our boys had at this age, which isn't saying much, but we'll take it! She loves chasing the boys around the house and unloading any drawer she can find.

We were able to celebrate her birthday a few days late on Mother's Day. She and Erik were sporting matching outfits for the occasion.

She started taking her real first steps across a room during the party. She loved all the attention!

I have been very excited for the day that I could make "pink" cupcakes.

She was very careful eating her cupcake. She picked all of the frosting off first, and then started on the cake.

Happy Birthday Emma! We love you!

cHeeSse!

This is Emma's favorite face! She will scrunch up her nose and grin at anyone who will smile at her. We just love this little girl!

Milestones

Last month, Cameron was baptized. He was so excited, and we are very proud of him! It was a wonderful day, and we are so grateful to all of our family who could be there.

Our family

Last Thursday, Jaxson received his Arrow of Light for Cub Scouts.
They had a fun ceremony where the dads painted the boy's faces as the Cub Master described what each color of paint represented. The kids though it was pretty funny.

Crossing the bridge

These are Jaxson's great leaders he is going to have when he joins the New Scouts in May. Congratulation, bud! We are so proud of you.

I just had to throw in a picture of Emma. She is trying to get her top teeth, and they are just being stubborn. She is always chewing on her lip. She is starting to stand on her own, but she is such a fast crawler I'm not sure how fast she will start walking. All of the kids are growing up so fast, it is hard to keep up with them!
