September Birthdays

September is a fun month in our family for birthdays. We start of on the 1st with Spencer. He turned 4 this year and was so excited to get a new Lightening McQueen bike.
We got to meet Erik for lunch and celebrate at Pirate Island. It was fun to have Mack join us! This man was our waiter and never broke character the whole time we were there. (a little scary:))

Kate helped us make this fun Monster Truck cake for the birthday party.
Dallin turned 7 on the 17th. He got a new bike early, so it wasn't super exciting on his birthday, but we got to celebrate at Brick Oven and bowl at BYU.
Grandpa Condie also celebrated his birthday this month. Everyone gets to wear the birthday glasses and hat. Happy Birthday you guys!

2010 Summer Highlights

A little catch-up of our summer
We started off celebrating Jaxson's 11th birthday.
This year for spring break we got a pass to Thanksgiving Point, so we spent many days at the Gardens.
We had a fun family reunion with Erik's family up in Heber.

This cougar was in our room. Emma and Spencer were a little nervous, but soon fell in love with him!

The crew on a nature walk.
Aaron and Samantha planed a fun game of "Fear Factor."

4th of July at the Provo parade
We had a great water party for our summer primary activity. The kids loved the huge slip and slide and all the fun games!

SNOWBIRD!

We were got to spend a few days in Idaho at the Tadje's cabin. We had so much fun on the lake and spending time with them.

Spencer was a little and Luke were a little exhausted after a long day on the lake.

Emma fell asleep while we were cleaning up to go home.
 Yeah for summer!

Can't Believe It's Been a Year

Emma turned 1 on Friday, and it is so amazing how fast the year has gone. She has grown up so much in just the past few weeks. We took her to her year check-up and she is in the 95% for height, and 75th for weight. She is getting 5 teeth right now, and is starting to walk. She loves to say "da da", and can say "ma ma", but thinks she is being funny saying dad instead. She has way more hair than any of our boys had at this age, which isn't saying much, but we'll take it! She loves chasing the boys around the house and unloading any drawer she can find.

We were able to celebrate her birthday a few days late on Mother's Day. She and Erik were sporting matching outfits for the occasion.

She started taking her real first steps across a room during the party. She loved all the attention!

I have been very excited for the day that I could make "pink" cupcakes.

She was very careful eating her cupcake. She picked all of the frosting off first, and then started on the cake.

Happy Birthday Emma! We love you!
