Emma Jane

We are so happy to welcome Emma Jane to our family. She arrived after a long wait to be induced, but came quickly once we got everything going at the hospital. She weighed a whopping 9 lbs. 2 oz. (bigger than all of our boys!) She has been such a sweet heart. The first day she slept most of the day, but by day two she was wide awake. The nurse came in and told us that she did not pass her hearing test because she was making too much noise. They came and tried later, and even had her asleep, but as soon as they got the probe near her ear she started screaming. The nurse told us it sounded like she was scolding them. I think she is ready to hold her own in this family of boys! We are so excited to have her home and are ready to experience this new world of girls.

Hooray for pink bows! Besides that small detail, she looks like a Tadje baby--absolutely adorable! I am so glad everything went well with her arrival. My girls are my loudest kids. Guess we should be glad they come with some spunk, right? Lots of fun days ahead at your house! Happy Mother's Day!
